"Doc’s Meet" is one of the H-E-T Club’s oldest and largest gatherings. If the past is any guide, nearly 300 Hudsonites and 70 Hudson-built cars will descend on Front Royal, in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley, next Mother’s Day weekend. The event is second only in size to the H-E-T National Meet and almost as old, having originated in 1964.

We will begin our activities at the Front Royal Fire Hall on Friday, May 9th at 5 PM with Engine Tune-Up Hour (featuring Doc’s legendary Super Six Punch).  This will be followed at 6 PM by the annual covered dish supper.  Afterwards you can kick tires in the parking lot, and renew friendships with fellow Hudson enthusiasts from around the country.

On Saturday you’ve a choice of activities!  In the morning, Hudsonites will again drive to Winchester for the Apple Blossom Antique Car Show, a 500-car AACA meet now in its 50th year.  (See http://www.huskyclub.com/abmeet.htm ).  There will be a special, non-judged ''Hudson'' class as in past years.  Cars must be pre-registered to be on the show field.   Or, you can sightsee in Front Royal (see http://ci.front-royal.va.us/tourism.asp?M=1&P=0&S=0 for tourist information)  and stop by the Fire Hall between 2 and 5 PM for a Hudson flea market.   Then, on Saturday evening at 5 PM, it’s time to meet once again at the Fire Hall for “Motor Tune-Up Hour”, followed at 6 by dinner featuring spaghetti with marinara sauce, meat sauce, meatballs, Italian sausage, a huge salad, bread, a veggie, and desert.  Dinner reservations are required by April 30; however, if we have cancellations, a few tickets may be available at the door.

Sunday morning's all-Hudson car show takes place on the grounds of the Skyline Caverns just south of town on Route 340 between the hours of 8 AM and noon.  And it will once again include the traditional Hudson tail gate/trunk flea market.
