Taking my 36 Terraplane around the block,sound quality isn't the best,sorry,Terraplanes were made by Hudson from 1932 -1938.Robert Johnson had a well known blues song called terraplane blues,also John Dilliger's favorite getaway car was a 33 Terraplane 8.

Amelia Earhart came to Detroit during the depths of the Depression to help struggling automaker, Hudson Motors Cars, launch its new low price vehicle, the Terraplane.She was one of the most famous people of her day having just become the first woman to fly across the Atlantic.

It\'s hard to believe but Disney used some of their classic characters to sell a wide variety of products in the 1950s. It\'s also hard to believe the animation styles they used. This ad for Hudson Hornet cars was aired on July 13, 1955.

The last of the Hudsons, styled alone by Hudson. For 2 years after this model, Hudsons still existed, but they were Nashes with Hudson styling touches. Then Hudson vanished! Sad story! These cars were the cars to beat on the track in the early 50's!

A beautiful example! It has hydramatic and a beautiful light blue metalic paint. A great car to cruise in!

Beautiful two tone blue finish! Notice the pop up vent behind the hood. The hood was hinged in the front on these Hudson models.

Riding in a 1937 Hudson. On the road to Bristol, Illinois where the car was located, we realized that the jet trails in the sky were all made by military aircraft. All civilian aircraft was grounded. Like many others I was stressed by the world situation. The stress manifested itself as a head cold.

The first time we saw Nifty's Hudson truck with all the dents knocked out and sprayed in matte black. Sounds sweet and looks awesome! It has a 7.2 Litre mopar V8 producing around 400bhp.

This was the heyday of Hudson racing. These twin carbureted cars were extremely competitive on the track. A classic case of "overengineering" these cars were built to take more abuse than most anyone would give them. Whereas one manufacturer might choose a cheaper component or method of manufacture, Hudson would choose the more expensive! [More] [Less]
